There are so many FUN events and parties where we like to glitter-up and sparkle. However, glitter is not so fun for the environment, being, in effect, just flattened plastic microbeads. Microbeads are now banned in any sensible place that cares about the environment. And regular glitter should be too! Most glitter is PET based, meaning it is plastic and very damaging to our environment, particularly as it enters the marine ecosystem after it is washed off and flows down the plug hole.

SUSU’S ECO GLITTER is made from a biodegradable film which comes from sustainably grown eucalyptus trees. It is 100% safe for the environment and our oceans. Over time the glitter will be metabolized by micro-organisms into carbon dioxide, water and biomass. Unlike standard glitters, it is free from heavy metals. It meets with all European and International regulations concerning the safety of cosmetic glitters. It is softer on the skin, and also suitable for vegans as it is never tested on animals. You can EAT IT (if you want sparkling poo, and what faery doesn't!)

Glitter-us' Faery Bottles and Elf Envelopes are currently available in a choice of 12 different colours in a variety of grades, from Ultra Fine Faery Dust; a smear of gossamer silver, to Chunky Midas Touch; to truly gild the lily!

It is recommended that you use an aloe vera stick, available here, or gel to help with adhesion. Just a slick to stick. It also looks fabulous when used over lip-gloss.
